Our Story
Cape Lions was born out of the energy, creativity, and big dreams of four classmates – Logan, Hudson, Josh, and Nick. At just ten years old, they wanted to create something that would not only be stylish and fun for kids like them, but also proudly represent their home – Cape Town.
Inspired by the bold spirit of the lion and the vibrant culture of their city, they set out to design cool merchandise – from t-shirts, caps, and socks to water bottles and stickers – that captures the essence of Cape Town’s youth. Cape Lions is more than just a brand; it’s about giving kids a way to express themselves with pride, confidence, and a sense of belonging.
But from the very beginning, the boys knew Cape Lions had to be about more than just looking good – it had to do good too. That’s why 20% of all profits go to the Vusa Rugby Academy, a local initiative that uses sport and education to uplift children from less privileged communities. Through rugby, mentorship, and structured learning, Vusa creates opportunities and builds brighter futures.
